For your fragrance to last long, here are a few tips and hacks on how to go with the layering process and smell exotic. If you are a beginner at this, start with a single note fragrance. Perfumes with one predominate note are easier to work without getting you confused. A single note of citrus or vanilla will go beautifully on a single, not of gardenia. A stronger smell would need you to layer a woody fragrance on top of a single note of rose scent. The order in which you layer your fragrances matters. To make your fragrance stay longer, start with the heavy noted fragrance and top it up with lighter fragrance. This way the heavy fragrance will not overpower the lighter one.
